Privacy policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ClocTeck ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit clocteck.com, contact us, create an account, or place an order through our Shopify store (collectively, the "Services").

1. Who is responsible for your information

ClocTeck is responsible for personal information processed for the purposes described in this Policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to sales@clocteck.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Contact and account information: name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, country or region, and account details.
  • Order and transaction information: products ordered, order value, currency, delivery status, returns, refunds, warranty or support requests, and related communications.
  • Payment information: payment status and limited payment-related details provided by our payment providers. Full card numbers are processed by payment providers and are not stored by us.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, interactions with the store, and cookie or similar technology identifiers.
  • Information you provide to us: the content of enquiries, reviews, feedback, and other communications.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through the Services, and from service providers that support our store, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping providers, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • process payments, fulfil and deliver orders, provide order updates, and handle returns, refunds, warranties, and customer support;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
  • measure website use and advertising performance through Google Analytics and Google Ads;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, customs, and regulatory obligations; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not currently send promotional email campaigns. We may send transactional or service messages that are necessary to process an order, respond to an enquiry, provide support, or notify you about important changes to the Services.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information because it is necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with a legal obligation, pursue our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business, or because you have given consent. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing already carried out.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Our store and service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, understand site performance, prevent fraud, and measure advertising. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads for analytics, conversion measurement, and advertising. These services may process device identifiers, cookie identifiers, IP-derived location, and information about interactions with the Services.

Where required, optional analytics and advertising technologies are used only after consent. You can use the cookie or privacy controls displayed on our store and your browser settings to manage these technologies. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

6. How we disclose personal information

We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, including to:

  • Shopify, which hosts and operates our ecommerce platform;
  • payment providers, to authorize and process transactions;
  • warehouses, carriers, customs agents, and delivery partners, to fulfil and deliver orders;
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads, for analytics, conversion measurement, and advertising, subject to your choices and applicable law;
  • professional advisers and service providers, such as IT, security, accounting, legal, and fraud-prevention providers; and
  • authorities or other parties, where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising technologies may be treated as "sharing", "targeted advertising", or a similar term under some privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may exercise the relevant opt-out right through our cookie or privacy controls or by contacting us.

7. International transfers

ClocTeck serves customers internationally. Shopify and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we and our service providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including order fulfilment, customer support, warranty service, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and applicable law. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing; and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise a right, email sales@clocteck.com. Please describe your request and the email address associated with your order or account. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. You may also use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Services may link to websites or services operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for those practices.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
